Leaving for a couple of weeks in Puget Sound visiting and old friend (actually we’re both old). They tell me it’s cool out there. Enjoy the heat while I’m gone and I’ll get some good photos to paint, I’m sure. Back in September..

It’s no longer a vacation. It’s really “adventuring”. Air travel is no longer for the faint of heart (or anyone with even a slight disability). Bicycle and barge trip in Netherlands was memorable. The bridges over the canals seized up from the 90° heat and had to have water shloshed on them to contract—look for some landscapes soon. Austria is a total contrast to Holland. Vienna, lots of walking, incredible transportation. Mozart concert in the Opera House done in costume and don’t forget the mountain vistas and the salt mine. Glad to be home. Let’s see; San Francisco in early February. Savannah, GA. in March, working on Austria (the one in Europe) in April if possible, definitely Holland in June. (Look for pix about windmills I guess). More BMW Motorcycle trips when it warms up..  On the road again Dave travels the world visiting friends, seeing the sights and then putting brush to paper he creates iconic images of the places he has been. |
